A public configuration score, not an inbox score.
Mailbox providers keep their sender models private. This release focuses on authentication and mail-infrastructure signals a domain owner can inspect, explains each weight, and marks blocklist feeds and domain-age checks as unavailable. The coverage figure is as important as the score.

Google Postmaster Tools
The old reputation chart is not the whole picture.
Google's current documentation says the Domain and IP Reputation dashboards did not carry over to the newer Postmaster Tools interface and API. Other provider-owned data, such as spam rate and delivery errors, remains separate from this public DNS score.

Treat unknown as a prompt for better evidence.
A clean public signal does not guarantee placement, and an unknown signal does not prove a failure. Use the factor explanation to decide which owner, data feed, DNS record, or real-message observation should be checked next.

How does this domain reputation checker work?
This release measures public authentication and mail-infrastructure signals such as DMARC, SPF, common DKIM selectors, MX, and mail-security records. Blocklist feeds and domain-age checks are not included in this release and are shown as unavailable. The result publishes factor weights, status, explanations, and measured coverage.
Is this the same as Gmail or Microsoft reputation?
No. Mailbox providers use private models that include engagement, complaints, message content, IP history, and other signals. This checker is a transparent public-configuration score and does not reproduce a provider or inbox reputation score.
What does coverage mean?
Coverage is the share of the 100 available weight points that could be measured. Unknown factors, such as an unguessable DKIM selector, are excluded from the denominator instead of being counted as failures. Blocklist and domain-age factors are unavailable in this release.
Why might DKIM be unknown, and why are blocklists unavailable?
Blocklist feeds are not included in this release, so those factors are shown as unavailable rather than queried. DKIM selectors cannot be enumerated from DNS, so a common-selector probe can miss a valid custom selector. The checker reports that case as unknown rather than inventing a failure or pass.
Did Google remove its domain reputation score?
Google's Postmaster Tools documentation says the Domain and IP Reputation dashboards did not carry over to the new interface and API. The current tools expose other signals, such as compliance status, spam rate, delivery errors, and deliverability information, but not that old score.
